Free Montana MVD Fines and Limits Permit Practice Test 2024

The knowledge test for your license in Montana is based on the 2024 Montana Driver’s Manual. The state’s exam will have 33 multiple-choice questions, which you’ll need to answer at least 27 correctly, to pass and be eligible for your license. This MVD practice test will focus on the section of your exam regarding fines and limits. This information is contained primarily in chapters one, six, and eight of the 2024 Montana Driver Manual and centers on limits and restrictions of the graduated license program, driving under the influence, and driving penalties. You’ll need to set an appointment with your local testing facility to take your written exam. If you pass, and are eligible for your license, you’ll also be required to take a vision test, show proof of identity, residence, and social security number, and pay the $5 license fee. As a minor, you’ll also be required to have parental consent and be enrolled in a driver training course if you’re under 16.
